As roofing systems continue to evolve, Carlisle SynTec Systems continues to introduce enhancements aimed at improving both installation efficiency and long-term performance. Recent updates to the 16′-wide Sure-Weld^® TPO product line include the addition of a High Slope option, as well as the incorporation of SeamShield™ Technology across all 16′ standard-formula TPO membranes. Together, these advancements are designed to reduce labor demands, streamline installation, and expand system versatility on large, open roof areas.

Product Update Details

16’ Sure-Weld TPO is now available in a High Slope option. This Carlisle-exclusive product is ideal for large, wide-open projects with few penetrations that need a high slope rating. Carlisle’s 16’ Sure-Weld High Slope (HS) TPO meets Class A fire rating requirements for steep-slope applications, enabling its use on projects with a slope exceeding ½”. The wide width of the sheets translates to a faster installation, fewer seams, and improved jobsite productivity. Carlisle’s new 16’ HS TPO is available in white and gray 60- and 80-mil thicknesses.

Sure-Weld 16’ standard formula TPO now features SeamShield™ Technology. Carlisle’s 16’ standard formula TPO membranes now feature SeamShield for a factory-clean weld surface on every job. SeamShield helps improve seam strength and long-term durability while supporting consistent, high-quality installations in the field. It also eliminates the need for manual seam cleaning, saving time on the roof and helping crews maintain efficiency – especially on large-scale projects where seam preparation can add up quickly.
